Our Story

Our company was founded in 1942 by H.L. Revere when he purchased a gas range for his wife, Elizabeth, but had no local supplier of propane. He stored cylinders of gas at his general store and began delivering propane in a farm grain truck to 7 customers.

Over 65 years later, our growth has demanded that we expand and operate six locations in Gloucester, Hartfield, Warsaw, Burgess, Williamsburg, and Providence Forge. These locations serve over 18,000 customers in Eastern Virginia. With a fleet of over 60 service and delivery vehicles, and over 700,000 gallons of propane storage at its locations, Revere Gas is able to provide our customers with timely, reliable and emergency service.
